The IPI/USP Pediatric Drug Reformulation Conference

The Institute for Pediatric Innovation announces that in collaboration with the United State Pharmacopoeia, we will be hosting an invitation only day and a half meeting at USP headquarters in Rockville, Md. on June 23, and a half day on June 24, 2008. Together with colleagues from FDA, NICHD, academia, and industry, we will be reviewing on day one past efforts to bring drugs to the market that have been specifically formulated for children, lessons learned in these past attempts, changes in the regulatory environment in the US and abroad, new approaches to financing, and some examples of specific programs of interest to NIH, FDA, and WHO.  The second half - day, we will meet as an advisory group to review what was shared on day 1, and to begin focusing on IPI upcoming efforts over the next months.
