IPI/USP Pediatric Drug Reformulation Conference:
in collaboration with the United State Pharmacopoeia, Rockville, MD [details]

IPI seeks to improve pediatric care by stimulating development of medical products and medications designed specifically for babies and children. We do this through public, private, nonprofit, and for-profit collaboration on product innovation.

IPI Programs:

The IPI Pediatric Hospital Consortium helps identify needs for new products that are optimized for care of children.
The IPI Pediatric Pharmaceutical Reformulation Program will develop a portfolio of drug products with delivery forms optimized for children.
In the NICU Needs Analysis, the Hospital Consortium has collaborated to identify needs for medical devices for neonatal care
The Pediatric Pharmacy Technology Program is evaluating whether hospital pharmacy processes for preparing individualized liquid oral doses for inpatients can be better automated.
A Pediatric Cardiology Needs Analysis has been launched to determine what products need to be created or adapted for optimal pediatric cardiac care.
